A meeting of NetEc activists and their friends was held in Eitorf (Germany) in June 1996. The host was Markus Hatterscheid. Here we see the whole group. Standing behind are Bob Parks, Fethy Mili, Lauri Saarinen, Bill Goffe and our host, Markus Hatterscheid. Kneeling in front are Thomas Krichel and Dirk Eddelbüttel.

Good food and drink where at the centre on the meeting. Everything was prepared by Markus' mother. Excellent stuff.

The meeting was judged a success. Culinary delights and alcoholic joys prevented excesses of work, but it was important to meet and to get to know each other better.
